This painting is named after the murder

If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it.
Susan, thank you for the inspiration!

About jfkaufmann
Not unlike my characters, I lead a double life: by day I'm a mother, a friend, a colleague, and the queen of my kitchen. When the moon rises, however, I shift into my other self and, as Queen of the Night, I reign the magical world of my imagination.
That name is certainly appropriate for the painting.

Thank you, Audrey! It’s funny; the moment I finished it (in acrylic pouring, you can’t plan in advance to make a specific painting), I said aloud, “Wow! Island in the clouds. Susan will love it!”
I liked Susan’s novel, and it’s cool that now the story has its own painting. And Susan liked it indeed!

It’s beautiful! It reminds me of those weather satellite photos over the ocean, and . . . well, like looking down through the clouds at an island!

Thanks a lot. This is the beauty of acrylic pouring – you never know where it’s going to take you.
